What is Sioux Falls Fatherhood Initiative (SFFI)?
SFFI is a grassroots organization designed to promote responsible fathering on a local, community based level. We are a non-profit organization assisted by Volunteers of America, Dakotas; the National Fatherhood Initiative program and the financial and volunteer support of the Sioux Falls community.
SFFI promotes and supports the father's role in the family and provides opportunities for men and women to understand the unique responsibilities of fatherhood. We also produce material and resources designed to assist in strengthening the family unit.
We also work with the Sioux Falls volunteer, religious, and business community to change the way fathers are viewed and to encourage father involvement. We provide a centralized location for collaborative efforts between business and organizations.
Through events and activities SFFI and our strategic partners work to educate about the importance of fathers, and provide training and resources to assist fathers in their development and involvement.
